Fonio paddy, also known as hungry millet, is a particularly fine seed that is very popular with many budgies, parakeets, and other small bird species.
The small grains are excellent for adding variety to their diet and can be offered as a supplement to a balanced staple food mix.
Due to the very fine grain size, we recommend offering Fonio paddy in a separate food bowl. This prevents the fine seeds from getting lost among larger grains in the regular food mix.
