Product details

Description

ENERGY PLUS is a high-energy staple food for African Grey parrots. The food composition includes 46% high-quality oilseeds, 40% starchy seeds, 8% nuts, 3.5% berries, and 2.5% vegetables.

High-quality oilseeds ensure easy digestibility and palatability of the feed. Especially during the winter months, birds in outdoor aviaries require a more nutritious diet. Niger seed, for example, contains over 50% unsaturated fatty acids, which have a beneficial effect on the bird's health.

Hulled seeds such as sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds or naked oats provide energy quickly to weakened and sick birds, as they do not need to be hulled first, and are therefore in high demand.

Walnuts, peanuts, almonds, and Brazil nuts are also popular due to their high nutritional value. They contain important minerals and trace elements that are essential for grey parrots with increased energy requirements.

COMPOSITION

Sunflower seeds (hulled), safflower, wheat, pumpkin seeds (hulled), red millet, hemp seeds, barley, dari, buckwheat, milk thistle seeds, peanuts (hulled/broken), paddy rice, naked oats, rosehip seeds, rapeseed, milo, beetroot, platy millet, silver millet, flaxseed, adzuki beans, mung beans, canary seed, perilla, rowan berries, niger seed, walnuts, rosehip fruits, almond kernels, Brazil nut kernels.
