After a thorough testing phase, we decided to give all our macaws this feed mix as their staple food. We were particularly impressed by the high nut content and the excellent aroma.

"The Nutty Delight" is specially formulated for large parrot species with high energy requirements. This balanced, varied staple food contains many hulled ingredients to reduce the risk of aspergillosis. It consists of 49% oily seeds, 33% starchy seeds, and 18% nuts.

Among the nuts are walnut kernels, rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, B vitamins, vitamin E, and minerals such as potassium, zinc, magnesium, iron, and calcium. Pecan nuts, also rich in fatty acids, offer minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, and zinc. Vitamins A, B, C, and E make them a nutritious snack. Brazil nuts are small powerhouses that provide a variety of vitamins, nutrients, and trace elements.

"The Nutty Delight" is suitable as a main or supplementary food for macaws, cockatoos, grey parrots and other large parrot species.
