Produktbeschreibung

German acacia honey – a rare specialty

Our German acacia honey is a special honey variety made from the blossoms of the black locust tree, also known as the "false acacia." Its mild, delicately floral taste, light color, and long-lasting liquid consistency make it a highly prized varietal honey.

Whether enjoyed on bread, in yogurt and muesli, or used to refine desserts and drinks – its subtle aroma makes acacia honey extremely versatile.

What makes our German acacia honey stand out:

  • German varietal honey
  • Natural beekeeping product
  • Mild and delicately floral in taste
  • Very light to pale yellow color
  • Naturally remains liquid for a long time
  • Ideal for sweetening and refining

Why does acacia honey stay liquid for so long?

A special characteristic of acacia honey is its high fructose-to-glucose ratio. As a result, it crystallizes much more slowly than many other types of honey and naturally stays liquid for an especially long time.

Why is German acacia honey special?

What we call acacia honey actually comes from the black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia). During their bloom, the white, fragrant flower clusters produce plenty of nectar and are a valuable nectar source for bees.

However, the black locust bloom is relatively short and highly dependent on the weather. Rain during the blooming period can significantly affect the nectar harvest. Consequently, the yield is not equally bountiful every year.

From sustainable beekeeping – because we love everything that flies!
