This hand-rearing formula mixes very well and is readily accepted by older chicks and adult parrots alike. It is therefore also ideal for mixing in medications, for example. We have already had very positive experiences supplementing the feeding of budgie chicks and weakened birds with it!
Composition:
Cereals 53% (maize, wheat, brown rice and oat groats), vegetable protein extracts,
Seeds, minerals, nuts (peanuts 3.8%), oils and fats, yeasts, algae.
Feeding recommendation:
Mix the correct amount of TROPICAN Hand-Feeding Formula (see table) with hot water. Alternatively, you can use cold water and a microwave. A syringe is recommended for feeding (if you are familiar with using one). For further information on preparation and feeding, see the back.
For hygienic reasons, always mix the feed fresh daily before each feeding and please pay close attention to the quantities and ratios of feed and water.
